Winter of Zombie 2015 SPOTLIGHT ON: Eric A. Shelman
What is your latest zombie release?
Middletown Apocalypse and Z Resurrected
Quick description of it (no spoilers)
Middletown Apocalypse: This project features 11 current zombie authors (Me, Brent Abell, Mark Tufo, John O’Brien, Mike Evans, Armand Rosamilia, Shawn Chesser, Heath Stallcup, Jay Wilburn, Joe McKinney, and Jack Wallen) who were all given the same beginning and the same ending to a zombie “scenario,” set in the town of Middletown, Indiana. How the authors get from the beginning to the end – and the characters they create – is up to each of them. It’s essentially an experiment in imagination; seeing how these various authors envision this particular apocalypse.
Z Resurrected is another interesting project that includes Me, Mark Tufo, Joe McKinney, Dana Fredsti, T.M. Williams, and Tom Leveen. These are short stories where each author “resurrects” a character from one of their zombie series and essentially creates a new story in that existing world. Mine is obviously set in the world of Dead Hunger and tells the story of a character I killed off during my series.
Something unique about it.
Both are unique, and the reasons for that are stated above … I actually can’t wait to read the other authors’ stories in both collections.

Your short Bio.
Eric A. Shelman lives in southwest Florida with his wife of 29 years, Linda. Yeah, she’s a freakin’ saint – that goes without saying. Eric was born in Fort Worth, Texas in the dawning of the 1960s, and he is a horror fan from his earliest years. He lived in southern California until 2001, when he moved across the country to escape the rat race of SoCal. He’s never regretted it. He also sings a lot, so just do a little Google search for Eric Shelman and pretty much any classic rock artist, and you’ll come up with a few dozen videos.
